Today is the first day of school. I know most everyone we know started school some time ago, but we are just getting going. Here is Haylee (2nd grade) and Trent (1st grade) all ready to head to the bus. Armed with their new school clothes and a backpack with supplies and a lunch. They were so excited. Yesterday we met their teachers and Dave gave them a blessing and they were set and prepared for a new school year.
However, Laycee didn't quite understand. She sat down to eat breakfast with them, got her hair done when I did Haylee's, got her shoes on when they did and then got the door shut in her face. She was sad to see them go.
When Logan woke up, the first thing he said was "Haylee Trent at?" They have been missing the kids, but I think they will soon enjoy the freedom. I hope Haylee and Trent love their first day of school this year (even if they will only be there for 2 weeks).

I am excited you will be moving out here. We will definitely have to get together. It will be fun to see how Emma and Haylee play together. Love the connection they have with each other. (same birthday!) :o)
