Today was Haylee, Trent's, and Dave's first ever snow day! Haylee and Trent went to school and came home a couple hours later and Dave got a call before going to work that said post would be close. We were so excited to get this bonus day! I posted a picture of the now at 6 am and there was so much more by 9 when it finally stopped snowing. Haylee couldn't wait to get out to build a snowman either... but that still hasn't happened.

Awe, you have snow too!!! We've never had the schools close for it yet, but we've kept our kids home the first year they lived here and the first real snow fall. They wanted to play so badly. I just bought new snow boots and the kids are breaking them in already. Most of our snow melted off but some still lingers. I'm cold!!! LOL
I miss snow days. I could really use one too!

Got to love the snow! We came home, after driving in for an hour to find out that base was closed, and made a snow man, played in the snow then came in and ate some soup. It is great!

Snow is so pretty. I hope you got a chance to play in it. We are wishing for snow here, but to no avail I think.
