End of Season

So Logan finished his flag football season.  He was awesome and made a lot of improvement.  It was hard for him being 5 when the other kids were 7, but he did his best.

Ha ha, see how much smaller he is?  But he loved it.  I am thinking we will be signing him up again next season.

Fall Fun

Over fall break, we held a camp here at the house.  One of the themes was "cooking" so we made eyeball carrots

It was awesome to run the camp!  I didn't make a ton of money off of it, but we made enough to have crafts and things to do every day.  Plus, the kids had friend to play with.  It was awesome!

I love that Haylee is so in love with her brother that she allows him to play along with her while she practices.

Oct 2012 General Conference

In October, Mark and Jessica were in St. George for his marathon, so we watched the kids.  Callie, Addie and Walker joined in the conference fun!

Saturday night, the men went to the priesthood session and while they were gone, Lynnae and I made pizza with the kids. Tyler requested Candy Sushi so we also made some of that.

Here are some of the cousins from both sides of the family.

 

We just passes the April 2013 General Conference as well.  Conference is one of my favorite weekends.  It is awesome to send the time inviting the spirit into our home for two straight days by listening to the Prophet and apostles.  This conference, we had been praying as a family ways that we could strengthen our home and family.  We received some inspired wisdom.  Among my favorite talks are....

Rain Gutter Rigada

This is Trent working hard to win his rain gutter boat race.  He was awesome.  He won some, lost some but was happy in the end.  I love these skills he is learning and am thankful for the scouting program in his life.

Graduation

Lynnae graduated from BYU!  She wasn't able to go to her commencement so we had one at home.

It was an awesome party and it was so great to celebrate this special moment with Lynnae.

Blue Belt

Trent attended another belt test.  He earned his blue belt!

He works really hard and it pays off.  He is moving through the ranks.

Fruit

I am so excited to show our very first orange.

 Trent babied these watermelons all summer.  They treatened to die off, but they made it.  Here is one of the watermelons.  They turned out so good.

Crusin

Ugh!  I had some video of William walking along furniture but of course blogger is not working properly.  Unfortunately, you only get to see pictures of it which isn't nearly as impressive. 

 

One day when I was out cruisin around, I got to see this amazing Arizona sunset.  I love the sunsets in Arizona.

 So here is William at 7.5 months walking along the furniture.  This boy surprised me all the time.  His motor skills are amazing and I have been blown away.  My children were always more in the normal to slow range and then bam... here is William :)

Football and Cello

Logan played flag football this year.  He was one of the youngest on the team but he was pretty good.  He didn't know much about football but he was ready and willing to learn. 

 Haylee started playing cello this year at school.  She was so excited to come home one day and see that we had bought her a cello. 

She had started piano this year so cello is coming easier to her than some of the other kids.  I am impressed with her musical talent and her willingness to practice and grow.

Kevin's Wedding Aug 2012

My youngest brother got married in August.  Here is William' outfit pre-wedding day.  SO cute!!

 Fast forward a couple more days and the second reception is in Arizona.  The big kids had school, so we left them behind, but for the reception, they attended.  Here they are before getting dressed.  Logan had a football game first

It was a good weekend, wedding and reception.  I was thankful to my sister and sister in law for helping us with our older children.  It was awesome to get away for a little bit.  I am happy for Hailey and Kevin.
