Beginnings and Ends

I started taking a quilting class.  This was my first attempt at machine quilting.  It is very hard work and I would rather pay my instructor to do the quilting part in the future :)

I made homemade yogurt and granola
 Tomatoes and salad
Haylee's first state project which means it was near the end of 5th grade!
Her church class teacher treated the girls to a day as a "Daughter of a King".  She is so blessed to have great people in her life.
The twins end of kindergarten program and the first class of Happy Valley East!

Dave's first time using his christmas present.  Thank you mom!  That thing has saved us at least 6 times!
My first teacher appreciation gift :)

Pinewood Derby and Cups

Pinewood Derby is just around the corner so I figured I should at least post last years soon!  Trent did pretty well.  The pinewood derby is not one of my favorite things about scouting but the boys like it.

Here is William practicing with a cup.  I can't believe how fast he seemed to grown up.  He was trying to be a big kid from the moment he was born.  It is amazing to look back and see him trying out being a big kid!

Easter, Birthday and Some more

Easter 2012 was hosted at our house.  We labeled the eggs with a number and the kids had to search for their own number.  Thankfully the area near our house was free because Dave's family is large!

William found his basket easter morning.

 Easter Sunday
 Dave turned 34!

Turt joined our house and he was ready to get out of his cage
 Quinoa salad
Homemade quinoa/brown rice pasta.  I ground the quinoa and brown rice and then made the pasta.  It was pretty good but I think I would toast the quinoa first next time!

Wildlife Park

During my dad's visit home from the middle East last April, my parents took us all to the local wildlife park.  Logan LOVED spending time with Grandpa.

 Haylee wanted that peacock

It was hot so by the end of the day, they all wanted the water ride.

I love these kids getting together!

Spring Into Vitality

Last April, my mom invited me to attend a health conference in Texas.  It was amazing!  I learned so much about thyroid health.  I have been on somewhat of a natural diet exploration and learning as much as I can.  This conference was the perfect chance to get a more medical and scientific information.  I had my first taste of ionized water and while at first it was a little nasty.  By the end of the 3 days, it was the sweetest and most amazing water ever!  I really wish I could have an ionizer.  While we were there, my mom won a VITAMIX!  Go Mom!  I doubt I can attend this year's conference, but it was amazing and I really wish I could have that opportunity again.

Picture Time

Who ya going to call?  Mr. Fix It!  Here is William about 15 months.  I was out trying to fix the lawmower and as I walked away, he decided to take over for me!

My sister came into town so we took the two youngest grandkids (William and Arianni) to the aquarium.  William loved it.  Arianni not as much :)

Oh the things mothers do to make their daughters happy.

It is almost time to plant again.  Here is William's contribution to last years garden and he is so adorable!
I woke up this morning at 4 am to William crying, "mommy, eyes hurt".  "Daddy, Daddy, eyes hurt".  Dave brought him to bed and that was the end of my sleep.  Instead of getting up and doing something productive, I wanted a day to feel normal again.  A day where life wasn't overwhelmed by the next task that has to be done.  So I took this time to sit down and enjoy what I have always loved doing.  Looking at old pictures.
