Dave recently found out that while he was in the "field"
(the training he is in right now)
that he would attend the promotion board.
He went appeared before the board yesterday and
he got a 147/150!
He seemed really happy with that and the board
passed on word that he was the best they saw yesterday.
So maybe in a few months Dave will be promoted to Sergeant (E-5),
but we will see... you can never count on the
speed of the military.

Congratulations to you! I think it took Dom 3 months to see the pay raise depending on how many points he has, and how many they need for promotion. Dom is going for E6 next month, keep your fingers crossed.
