SNOW day!

The Monday before Thanksgiving we got a very unexpected snow. The kids were so excited! We even took the week off school just like all the other kids.
Snow is not Laycee's most favorite thing, so this was a rare picture.
Haylee, on the other hand, stayed out forever. She never wanted to come back inside.
Logan is fussing here, but he actually really liked the snow.
Trent is so funny. He loves this mask.
It was such a treat the first two days. After that, the ice set in and it was really annoying.

Hey Lexi,
Looks like the kids had a lot of fun. Our school district here is really sketchy, so the majority of families on base homeschool. There are about 100 families in the co-op here and it just gives the kids--and me--some socializing! They do PE and 4H and then other random classes through the co-op. The also do all of the holiday parties and yearbook, just like regular school. We really like it! The headband thing--I usually use the Queen Sized Knee highs in the little balls from Walgreens or Rite Aid. Just the toe and the top part off and sew a straight stitch and then I fold the seam into the middle (so it's thinner) and do a zig zag across it. They hold up really well this way. I then just hot glue (high heat gun) right over the seam, whatever flower or bow I'm putting on. I also get stretch lace from www.laceheaven.com for SUPER cheap and I love it! Sorry this was mega long! Hope you guys are doing well! Talk to you soon!
