Progressive Field

Well on day 5 of the trip, we woke up bright and early.  It really was early since we still had not completely adjusted to the time change.  We were heading to Ohio's Progressive Field for a baseball game.  This was dad's request of the trip.  Onward to Cleveland.
Such troopers and the nap was MUCH needed

Getting close, the kids were bursting with excitement!

Finally made it to Progressive Field.  It seemed like a pretty long drive, so we were all ready to get out of the car and do something else for a while.

We were lucky to park RIGHT across from the field.  And we had to quickly gather the children get them across this busy street.  I was really nervous crossing even with the crosswalk!

The men... and Laycee because she just loves Grandpa

We watched some baseball, had some hotdogs and water.  We had a snack.  You can see above that Trent is holding a green fan in his hand.  I picked those up on a whim at Walmart, but only picked up 4 because they were a little expensive I thought.  I wished I had bought more.  They were a commodity on our trip as a whole!

Logan was thrown this bag by one of the entertainers! He was so very excited!!

Game was over and we were exhausted after the long drive and time watching the baseball game, but they all had happy faces as we headed out to our hotel.

Mom was strategic in planning a hotel for tonight.  She told me that she thought we would need a nice hotel midtrip to rest up and swim and relax.  She found a Residence Inn that had a two bedroom room with a pool.  Since we arrived "early" to the hotel (meaning not in the middle of the night), we were able to do some laundry and swim and order pizza.  It was the perfect plan.  As Haylee walks into the room while we are cleaning up, she comes running out and says, mom... was this room expensive?  I said, I dont know hun about the same as the others.  She said, Oh well if it was, it was TOTALLY worth it.  You have to love the sweet sayings of children.  It was a much needed rest.  The breakfast in the morning was to die for and we were then ready for more tours and travels.  Next stop... Kirtland, OH!
